First, I am happy that my roommates and I were able to find an apartment. We had been looking for quite awhile, and we were really worried that we weren’t going to find something that would work for each of us.
A few weeks ago, we reached out to a few agents on Zillow, and it happened that one of the agents from Trio Real Estate Group responded.
She was very responsive and enthusiastic when she was setting up the showing.
We loved the apartment, and we were sure we would move forward with the leasing process.
After the initial showing, the agent completely changed. It took her two to three days to respond to emails, she gave us conflicting information about the apartment and its leasing details, and she was all together unprofessional.
We even tried calling the agency office to try to follow up with someone during the couple of days when our agent wasn’t responsive, and we didn’t even get an answer at the office!
Once we got back in touch with her about rental application materials, she made the process frustrating and upsetting.
In addition, she sent us an email implying that WE needed to be fast about the process because she had coworkers with people interested in the same apartment.
She seemed to imply that we were in a race to get the apartment.
Boston Real Estate moves very quickly. Most agents are very proactive and responsive with their clients to get the ball rolling so someone else doesn’t grab the listing from underneath them.
Our agent didn’t seem too bothered to care until everything was finalized.
The whole process took TWO WEEKS, and the entire time we were on edge and frustrated.
Yes, I am very happy that my roommates and I got the place we wanted. We are extremely excited to start our next chapter in this new neighborhood.
Our landlord is lovely, and the apartment is perfect. The process to get it was grueling, stressful, and uncomfortable because our agent and the service she provided were terrible.
I would not recommend this real estate group or any of its agents to anyone.
