Suzanne Griffiths, whom I contacted after finding her number on the website of Bigger Pockets. When I contacted her, she informed me about the various deals that she had closed and flaunted about the Level 5 properties that she owned in Hugo, Minnesota. She even added that she manages one of the best properties, 45 North Investment Properties which is located at 11190 Sand Castle Drive, Woodbury, Minnesota.
That was a hell of an impression for me. I was excited to be able to get in touch with her. I was looking to buy a property and after few months, when I came to know about an opportunity, I contacted her. That house was in foreclosure. The family was moving to Mexico and wanted to vacate.
I came to know about it through a common friend and asked Suzanne to help me out of it. On this, Suzanne provided me a reference of Candy Kirchner. This lady verified about the details of Suzanne and said that she had done business with Suzanne before as well. I wasn’t able to pick the lead and did not bother to check about their profiles on internet. This was serious.
I lent $80,000 to Suzanne with an expectation to receive good news. She said that she had executed mortgage as well as promissory note. But, when I tried to contact her when I did not hear from her after our last conversation, she stopped answering my calls.
I checked for their contact details online and found out that Suzanne and Cindy had their profiles on LinkedIn and from what it appears to me is that they looked alike. I guess, they are sisters. My guts say that to me.
I emailed them many times, but they are not responding back. After trying a lot, I checked the ownership of the house that was supposed to be mine. I was shocked to see that they had never appeared for the foreclosure.
The property was listed on the name of Bank of America. So, I believe that they ran away with my money. I am not able to trace them and have no clue what I should be doing next. I handed over the money to them with my consent and now, they are not returning my calls.
I should have checked their profiles before. Maybe, I would have got idea about the scam. These girls are cunning and very convincing. There is no way, someone could smell the fraud out of their talks.
I wish, I had been more attentive and cautious. I am here to warn people out there who feel that these women can help you in closing any deal. They only have big mouth and they lie for everything. They work together to accomplish such scams and then vanish.
I am trying hard and will not lose hope. It was my hard-earned money and I am going to track these fraudsters to make sure they get what they deserve.
