Landlords and tenants, please beware of Rachel Lura. While she thinks she provides FREE services and helping people, she actually expected me, the landlord to provide her free service for her so that she could collect broker’s fee with no work.
If she is helping anybody, it would be herself. Shame on her for taking advantage of other people instead of earning fee by working.
I should have known when she did not want to take my tenant’s contact number and instead called me at 11:10PM with regard to showing. She should have contacted my tenants NOT me at decent hours.
Rachel said my updated apt might be a great fit for a family with a baby. I told her that I would do de-leading before their occupancy starts.
Rachel said de-leading would not be needed since they were nice. Either she is ignorant or knowingly in violation of the Mass Housing Law.
Instead of proceeding with contact information of my tenants, she annoyed and aggravated me for the next 48 hours with bombardment with texts and calls at odd hours over the weekend.
There was absolutely no urgency or need for such contacts and after all no showing was made or confirmed.
Despite my at least SIX REMINDERS for 24 hr notice requirement within 48 hrs period, she blatantly ignored and contacted my current tenants early on Saturday morning.
She does not get that people sleep through early hours of weekend. Instead she complained to me that the tenant’s phone was not working.
After no confirmation of showings but just a bunch of busy texts from her, I concluded that she was neither believable nor trustworthy to pursue anymore.
Next morning on Sunday, she left message saying due to the last minute cancellation, she could squeeze the showing.
I asked her why she continue to bombard me with last minute texts, not keep her words, and not honor 24 hrs notice? Instead of sincere apology, she surprised me with an outrageous claim of her FREE Service for the landlord.
Just because tenants pay the fee, it does not make her work “free” service”. In her twisted mind, landlords and current tenants are at her disposal.
I never heard of any brokers ever attempted to use landlords and current tenants to do showings so that brokers to gain the fee without foot work.
Rachel apparently in denial that she is a broker. Although Rachel acted as if she was too busy to do a single showing, she had plenty of time to send nasty messages when I told her that she was fired. I blocked Rachel from further contact.
