I’ve only worked with one agent At Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, so this review is for that agent specifically. It’s unclear whether this entire office shares the same conduct and practices.
The agent I worked with seemed quite shady. Regarding the property he was trying to sell to me on behalf of the sellers, he often made statements inferring that his statements were factual statements when in fact they were exaggerated, uncorroborated or simply untrue.
As a seller’s agent, appropriate practice should be to obtain all the facts and proof of information and the accuracy of the information prior to disseminating the information to potential buyers.
The agent was not trustworthy in general, and it turns out that certain statements were proven untrue after closing. If you ask me, the practices and behavior were unethical at best.
